BID SCOPE: The Scope of Work includes:
The proposed project would rehabilitate the Cabrillo Pavilion, a City Designated Structure of Merit (qualified historic building) and the surrounding site to enhance public access and community use, address failing systems, and meet current ADA code requirements by making the following improvements. On & off site improvements, concrete, paving, pavers, below grade waterproofing & grading, parking lot repaving & striping. Signage. Complete renovations of first floor (beach level), demolition & HazMat, new lockers & shower rooms, elevator, doors & windows, restrooms. Light gage metal framing, drywall, lath & plaster, fiberwrap, painting, decorative & stainless steel ironwork, & bollards. Remodel of second floor (street level): remodel of lobby, restrooms, warming kitchen, reconstruction and expansion of existing support spaces, flooring, ceramic tile, acoustic panels, millwork, doors/windows/hardware. Building structural repairs and seismic upgrades: concrete repair and retrofit at portico and STOA, insulation, single ply and tile roofing. Bird deterrents& specialties. GFRC grills. Complete MEP communications and AV system upgrades. New building wide automatic fire sprinkler system (requires separate permit.) Fumigate Pavilion bathhouse and STOA for termites. SWPPP. LEED Silver certification.
